On 17th December 2011Hakan Gurbaslar from Turkey tried to retrieve his former "Mental Square Root World Record Holder" title from Indian girl Priyanshi Somani after one year since she had got the title during Mental Calculation World Cup 2010.

Melik Duyar, Memoriad Chairman, announces the start of World Mental Square Root Trial of Hakan Gurbaslar to News Reporters just before the trial.

According to the rules he had up to 10 trials and ten 6-digit numbers were created at random by Memoriad Software to be solved on each trial. The solution would be the square roots of the numbers with an accuracy of eight digits at maximum with being up to the 5th digit after the comma.
